Cancellation and refund policy
This page describes your statutory right of withdrawal under EU consumer law for contracts concluded online, and the terms under which a paid Tradelyst subscription can be cancelled.
1. Right of withdrawal (consumers)
You have the right to withdraw from a paid Tradelyst contract within fourteen days without giving any reason. The withdrawal period expires fourteen days after the day on which the contract is concluded.
To exercise your right of withdrawal, you must inform us (support@tradelyst.ai) of your decision to withdraw by an unequivocal statement (for example, an email). To meet the withdrawal deadline it is sufficient that you send the communication concerning your exercise of the right of withdrawal before the deadline expires.
2. Early expiry of the withdrawal right (digital content)
The right of withdrawal expires early if you have expressly agreed that we may begin performance of the contract before the withdrawal period ends and you have acknowledged that, by giving that consent, you lose your right of withdrawal once performance begins (§ 356(5) BGB, transposing Art. 16(m) of Directive 2011/83/EU). We obtain this consent explicitly at checkout.
3. Effects of a valid withdrawal
If you validly withdraw from the contract, we will refund all payments received from you without undue delay and in any event no later than fourteen days from the day on which we are informed of your decision. We will use the same means of payment as in the original transaction unless you have expressly agreed otherwise.
4. Subscription cancellation
A monthly subscription can be cancelled at any time effective at the end of the current billing period. An annual subscription ends automatically after twelve months and is renewed only if you actively opt to renew. Cancellation is performed via the Stripe customer portal in your account settings, or by email to support@tradelyst.ai.
Following cancellation, access remains available until the end of the already-paid billing period; pro-rated refunds are not provided unless mandatory statutory provisions require otherwise.
5. Data deletion
After cancellation, your trade data remains in a deactivated state for thirty days so you can reactivate your account if you change your mind. After that period all personal data is irrevocably deleted (see the Privacy Policy, section 13).
6. Refunds outside the statutory withdrawal right
Outside the statutory right of withdrawal we do not provide refunds for billing periods already paid. If the software fails to function as intended, please contact support; in justified cases we will consider goodwill arrangements.
