Bar-by-bar replay
Walk forward through any trade one bar at a time on the same chart.
Replay walks the chart forward one bar at a time, on the same chart, with the same entry / stop / exit lines visible from the start. Useful for "what did this setup actually look like in motion" reviews.
Activating replay
Click the Replay toggle in the chart toolbar. The chart switches modes; a transport bar appears below.
Transport controls
- ▸Rewind — jump to the first loaded bar.
- ▸Jump to entry / exit — fast-skip to the trade's entry or exit bar.
- ▸Step ±1 — single-bar advance / retreat.
- ▸Play / Pause — auto-advance at the chosen speed.
Speed
Four multipliers: 1× / 2× / 4× / 8×. The tick interval is fixed at 500ms; speed controls bars-per-tick, so the visual cadence stays consistent regardless of whether you're at 1m or 4H.
Selecting a start bar
Click the Select start bar button in the transport bar. The chart switches to crosshair mode with a magnet vertical line that snaps to the nearest bar. Click any bar to drop the cursor there; replay pauses automatically. Esc cancels.
Markers
The IN arrow appears once the cursor reaches the entry bar; the OUT arrow once it reaches the exit bar. Price lines stay drawn the whole time — the replay illusion applies to the bars themselves, not the orientation overlays.
Sub-minute (Elite)
Sub-minute resolutions (1s / 5s / 15s / 30s) are reserved for the Elite tier — they require on-demand 1-second backfill per trade window, which costs real money per pull. Standard tier covers 1m, 5m, 15m, 30m, 1H, 4H via resampling.
